Mobile User Experience
SOUNDIE
For the first project in Google’s UX Design Professional Certificate, we were given generated prompts. I chose the prompt: “A music-sharing app for musicians.” I then conducted a competitive audit comparing major companies in the music streaming market. During this audit, I noticed an opportunity to bridge the missing link between talents and fan interaction. Musicians, large and small, all have to juggle multiple social media platforms as well as streaming platforms. Soundie aims to combine the traditional look and feel of music streaming platforms as well as all the key features of today’s most popular social media platforms allowing for familiar and effective fan interaction.
Responsive Web Design

The second project in Google’s UX Design Professional Certificate builds upon my first project, Soundie. For this project, I built a responsive website for both desktop and mobile applications.
Complete User Experience
PlanetPal
The third and final project in Google’s UX Design Professional Certificate is centered around “social good.” With this project, I was given the freedom to either use a prompt or create my own. Inspired by the difficulty I had finding a clothing recycling program near me, I decided to create PlanetPal, an app that focuses on building a local community to have a global impact. PlanetPal focuses on informing and empowering the communities by connecting like-minded individuals. In this final project, I have combined the skills learned from the previous two projects to create one cohesive and complete user experience.
